Even though the price for both engine oil is higher as they had been the respective company’s signature products, many car lovers do not hesitate to pay a high amount for these engine oil.

Let us look into what titanium fluid is all about and what is the fuzz about it? In the first place, what is titanium? While it had been supreme in many sectors, only in the recent year that researchers had found that titanium added to a formulated engine oil can provide a higher level of wear resistance. The titanium additive with the doubling of the oil strength made Castrol advertise their engine as superior in fighting against metal to metal friction while simultaneously unlocking the engine’s true performance. With the success of Castrol, some non-prominent engine oil like Kendall, Texas, and ConocoPhillips had made their engine oil with titanium additive. Nonetheless, Castrol is the first engine oil that has prominent success with the titanium additive since it is more famous than them.

With the superiority of titanium in engine oil having been proven and made successful by Castrol, it paved for more research on the benefits of titanium in the automotive industries. With the advancement in turbo technologies and saving space, the car engine has become smaller while conversely generating more power thanks to turbo technologies. This made the car engine work hard, and the titanium was seen as the latest innovation in the lubricant company’s fight against the metal to metal friction in the car engine.
